Default EX ease of build vs other kits

I've seen a lot of posts on here re: the quality of the EX kit/support and the relatively manageable build time.

Can anyone compare it to the Glasair Sportsman 2+2 build in terms of ease and time? This is another plane that interests me and that has some quick build options.

Also, the RV-14 seems like a good kit.

Would you expect these other two kits to be much more difficult for a first-time builder than the EX? Or about the same?

Have built a glastar, rv10 and carbon cub. As far as the build, the carbon cub is far superior. The kit is better quality, instructions far better and the support is light years ahead of others. Thank you Mitch Travis. I much prefer flying the cub vs the glastar/ sportsman. The rv 14 is really a different category of aircraft. I love my rv10 but it's mission is go fast, IFR and higher altitudes. The cub is low and slower and tremendous bush capability. Hope this helps.
