    Default CC-EX with a conventional 0-320

I'm curious if anyone's built or is building a Carbon Cub with a standard 0-320? The Carbon Cub is definitely on my short list for my next Cub and I happen to have an 0-320 laying around. I'm looking for feedback to whether the 0-320 is a viable choice or should be avoided.

    Thanks.

What mount set up is the engine designed for?

If I am not mistaken that will work. Ask Mitch to confirm.

That will do well. The prototype Carbon Cub flew with a 160 hp O-320 for the first hundred hours or so before it got a 340.

You might have some issues with the baffles around the cylinder barrels, the O 320 does not have the tapered barrel fins like the 340 does.

Also, it will be heavier with magnetos and a conventional oil sump. You might want to plan on extended baggage to help keep the cg more balanced.

We have found that the plenum system will work with the standard cylinders.

ECi have an STC to convert the O-320 to an O-340
