I've been flying with a prototype stick grip that protects the trim switch. From my days driving superubs, I have a habit of resting my hand on top of the stick. Several times the result has been an abrupt change of trim. The grip slides onto the stick and two O-rings maintain a snug fit. The mic PTT is still clear.
The grip in the photo works for me. I usually operate the trim switch with my index finger.
The grip is turned from Delrin. It would be an easy matter to spit out more if anyone else likes the concept. Jake 207 924 5905 My stick O.D. is about 1.135 . Since the part is programmed , it would be an easy matter to change parameters. For instance, the protective radius could be closer to the switch.
