The original custom PTT throttle knob was built from Delrin. It machines well and looks nice finished. It is also very light.

The plan is to fabricate them out of both aluminum and Delrin. Once the mill is set up either material can be easily used. I like options.

I am reluctant to say much about this project until we have some samples in hand, but we are close.

    Throttle Knobs

Ryan milled several throttle knobs from both Delrin and aluminum. He powder coated a couple of the aluminum satin black. They look good.

In the next couple of weeks we should also have some knobs without the PTT cutout and holes. In other words, one can replace the small round knobs with a more substantial knob.

The powder coated aluminum came out really well.

In a week or two we should have more details available.

Have four Delrin ready to go. $45 each. Should have black powder coated aluminum by Christmas. They will go for $60 each.

Email me at ceslaw@aol.com with "knob" in the reference line if interested.

i will post more details and pics shortly.
