I just installed the Wig-Wag landing light module ( SP74006-001 ). When I visited the factory Stan and the electronics installer discussed the pros and cons of installing the control in the wing and we were all uncertain as to the
outcome.
On serial #175 it works. With a slight counterbore on the backside of the mounting hole the unit will secure to the 10-32 drag wire excess length with a 10-32 365 nut.
Connect both grounds to the ground connection on the light. Connect the white/red to the 14V terminal. Splice the red wire and the plane power wire together.
Since I stopped flying at night a long time ago, I don't need the option of flash or constant. I have just one landing light. Great safety feature in the daylight! Jake
