    Default Tundra tires field repairs

I'm preparing for a trip in outback Australia, and wondering what to carry for field repairs for the Airstreak tires in case I spike one. Wondering if anyone tried a tube repair patch on the outside (at low inflation) as temporary get home repair? Or does the tire fix stuff in a can work? Or is there another solution? Paul.

They make a Large and Small patch kit. It is Not recommended to use "Slime" in the tire, since this makes it difficult to get a patch to work.

Also they make a Plug Kit : http://www.airframesalaska.com/ABI-1...abi-15-057.htm

Airframes Alaska is also the owner of the Alaskan Bushwheel family of products including the venerable Alaskan Bushwheel and Baby Bushwheel Tailwheel.

Thank you Thomas and Steve. Great help. I had trouble finding the manufacturer, realise now they were purchased recently by Airframes Alaska.
I will be ordering all 3 kits right away. Seems like a 'must have' for remote areas. Thanks again. Paul.
