    Default Silly question

Sorry to ask a silly question. OK… I have satisfied the SB so I have two drains for fuel up in the nose. One is labeled fuel drain. I go there to check for debris water and stuff like that. There is also the old fuel drain in the belly. I was getting the airplane ready to fly this morning and thought I would drain the fuel out of that. It comes out in a real small trickle. If memory serves that used to just pour out. Is this a problem? Or no sweat?

Make sure the fuel selector is on before sumping it on the front 2 drains. The back one should drain out steady. If its not you may have an obstruction in the line .

Thanks, Snoopy. It does drain steadily, just slower than I remember. Steady small stream instead of a flush.

Both should be labeled fuel drain.

The one forward of the firewall (gascolator) won't drain much if the fuel is off.

The drain on the boot cowl is in a line upstream of the selector so should drain freely regardless of selector position.
