    Default Wing Rotators

I'm getting ready to cover the wings and without a rotator I can see this will be a real pain. I've seen the ones at cubcrafters which are great but complicated and expensive to build. I've also seen wag-aeros rotator which doesn't look too bad. I'm looking to see what others have done wing rotators

Steve, here's some pictures of my wing "rotisserie". It's been an absolute lifesaver. Rotating the wing on my rack is a one-man operation. I was very fortunate to come across this rack when visiting a fellow builder and he generously offered me the use of the rack for my build. I've used it for covering and painting. Can't imagine how much more work it would have been to do it on horses or tables.

really nice, I would have a tough time with the rings since I'm a novice tig welder.

I just completed the top fabric of one wing.........this is not going to be fun without a rotator I think I'm going to wait until I get something.

Don't short change yourself on the wing rotators. Whether you build or buy, put the time and/or resources into it to end up with a good set...you will not be sorry. We have a set almost identical to EV's, using cheap tubing and wooden 2x4's from the box store for the majority of constuction. They have lasted several rebuilds and restorations now and they are truly a lifesaver.
