Thanks Randy for the reply. So I will benefit from both a new design sump and the fuel nozzle. Tremendous! I will be picking up #321 in July. Can't wait.

You must be thinking of the nozzle kit for Marvel carburetors. According to Marvel, that can only be installed in a Marvel carburetor, but there are rumors of them having been installed in AvStars by an experimental aircraft owner. We have no data regarding the results of that "experiment".<br>

I am planning to install the Sump Insert and would also like to install the perforated nozzle. I have an AvStar carb. Can I install the Marvel nozzle into the AvStar, or is there now an AvStar nozzle available? Also interested in recent user reports on both. Paul.

    Paul-
I put Both the Marvel nozzle And the the insert in my AvStar 70 hrs ago. Runs better all around. Exhaust temps and
cylinder temps more even. I will say a bit smoother. Didn't have to adjust anything. Starts hot or cold fine.
Just pulled the plugs at 70 hrs.- nice and clean with good color on all.

Thank you Steve. Exactly what I hoped to hear.

FS: I have a sump insert from Cubcrafters. Bought to see if it would fit my RV-9A and it doesn't... Also have the atomizing nozzle. Don't need either, $100 each. Derekhoeschen(at gmail.com)
