Has anyone installed this insert on their CC340 engine and if so, how do you like it?

Just installed. It does improve the egt spreads but not a cure all. Still getting a 100-150 spread on egt's between front and rear. It is worth doing. Engine does run better.

I received one in UPS today. I'm planning to install it in April when I do my condition inspection. There are some longer studs furnished with the insert. Any tricks to remove the originals and install the new ones?

It is a neat looking part. I assumed it was a weldment like the sump but it isn't. It is machined from one piece of aluminum.

Dan I had no problem getting the studs out just used 2 nuts locked them together and they backed right out.

You may benefit from installing both the insert and the nozzle kit.

The tracking number shows you should have it.
