    Default CCK-1865-0078 "Arrived"

Well tonight I accidentally ran into a problem I haven't ran into during the build. I was installing parts, went back to the parts staging tables and it turned out I ran out of parts. I turned around to look at the plane...

...ends up that the reason I am out of parts is because the plane is done. Well have to weigh it this weekend, some final inspection points, then DAR visit. I had expected that installing the final part would be this monumental moment where I'd pose for a photo as attaching it but somehow it just happened in this "Oh F&*k, I'm done!" moment. I guess that how it goes. Now to wrap up the paperwork and learn how to fly the thing...

That's the kind of problems you want. It looks great and I'm sure it will fly like a dream too.

Okay so it got weighed this weekend. 480/480/73=1033

I was curious so I built a CarbonCub SS with my options and the order sheet said...

So 4.5lbs heavier then what the factory does. Not too shabby!

Also performed a level flight attitude flue flow test today. Put 9 gal of fuel in, removed fuel line from carb and opened the valve. System flows 34GPH. Tomorrow we are going to lift it to max pitch up attitude and see what flow rate we can get. While the factory has performed these test for certification purposes, and I hope that I've built mine as they built theirs, don't was to find out on the first takeoff that I'm starving the engine for fuel.
