I'm glad it's been so snowy, cold, windy here since this was announced.

I have to echo comments and praise posted by David, Gary and others on this entire situation. Having worked a bunch of years in construction with dozens of design teams, engineers and architects, I don't know that I have ever seen this kind of reaction and transparency in the face of a design problem. Typically what happens at the first sign of an engineering or design bust is everyone goes silent (while they're talking to their legal counsel).

CC's customer support in the form of a video, updates, and minimal cost to fix is outstanding. Best in class professionalism and definitely a higher standard being set by the entire Cubcrafters team!!

In anticipation of flying soon I washed my Carbon Cub today. Even sit in it and made airplane noises.
By the way I use the Tailwheel Transporter and love it!

I have always felt the supercub is one thing mankind got right the first time but that there were better materials and methods to build them. CubCrafters products are proof I was right.

Has anyone heard of a date when the kits will start shipping to a/c owners?

I just looked at the order page for at the SA0009 kit. It now says "

Unfortunately, or fortunately, the last two months in central California have been some of the best flying weather I have seen in a long time. We are desperate for rain, and recently had a wild fire at Big Sur, but it has been hard to complain about the clear skies and gentle breezes. I have gone up with a few friends and taken a couple of Acro lessons in a Citabria to pass the time.

Here's wishing beautiful weather for everyone starting around the 15th of January and above freezing temps for everyone immediately!
    Cheers, Barry

We are still on track to receive the heat-treated stainless steel on 1/8. We may well start manufacturing that day, or the 9th at the latest. I don't know why we'd wait until the 15th to start shipping but maybe there is a factor I'm not aware of. I plan to post a comprehensive update on 1/9 with the exact status of everything.

Thanks to all owners for their patience!!

Maybe you need to move one of those CubCrafter Factory Webcams over to the CNC machine making the new fittings. Bet it would get a lot of hits. Great winter entertainment.
