    Default Sport Training advice

My name is Gustavo Elizondo, I am 43 years old and living in Monterrey México. I have always had the dream of owning my plane to fly. I am a rc modeler since I was 10 years old, now I am a father of three children's, two boys and a princess (18,16 and 15 years old) , and they have the same dream of flying.
We visit every year Airventure at Oshkosh and last year we took a demo flight at cubcrafters in a SS cub, that was fantastic!. I am planing to buy one this year, but first I would like to have the sport pilot license and have the training in a taildragger.
Could you give me advise where can we take the training in the U.S.A.?

    Best Regards

    Gustavo

    Hello Gustavo,

There are several places in the US where you could get your training and get it either in one of our aircraft. We have a network of CCFIAs (Cub Crafters Flight Instructor Affiliates), all of whom we approve and do their instruction in our aicraft. Our web site has a current list, just select one and make the arrangements, here is a link to the list... http://cubcrafters.com/ccfia.aspx

    Hi Richard:

Not as far as I know, but I think the safer way for my kids and I to be pilots is learning in the U.S. and then taking the private pilot course in Monterrey Mexico with our Carbon Cubcrafter plane.

    Saludos!

Welcome, Gustavo. Please keep us informed of your progress in getting your license.

My father and I learned to fly together, and flying was something that kept our relationship very close for the rest of his life. I'll always be grateful for that. Best wishes to you and your kids.
