    Tom,

I took possession of mine at Oshkosh. I absolutely love it! If theres a down side to owning a Carbon Cub I haven't found it. I live in Somerset, Kentucky and if you're ever my way I'll be happy to take you for a ride. In the short time since Oshkosh I've flown approx. 30 hours.

Life's too short just do it!

About the only thing I'd do differently is get the long range fuel tanks. The aircraft will handle them easily and it would save a lot of climbing around re-fuelling.
Agree that the larger fuel tanks are a must to avoid constant refueling.Weight is not an issue.

    Gentlemen,
I was at the Fisdo offices the other day getting my repairman/inspection certificate. They are the Fisdo that has certain oversight of CC. They are very involved and interested in the Carbon Cub. I would be careful to overstate the flogging of weight rules on a forum.

I am invariably alone in the plane and do not weigh a lot.( 925 +240 fuel +130 me)
can fill tank and stay in light sport rules.
really like being able to fly between KVNC and KTPF several
times without having to re fuel. We have a nice bunch of tail wheel
pilots at Peter O'Knight Airport in Tampa. two Carbon Cubs, Stearmans.
Decathlon, Extra and a few RV's
    :-)
