Default Carbon Cubs at Hartman Ranch

Last Tuesday a batch of Carbon Cubs flew in to Hartman Ranch, CA.

Organized by Ben and John Hodges and hosted by Bud Hartman. It pretty well ranks as one of the better days.

Looks like your new mount is working well. Good video.

Yep, it's doing a nice job. The mount is based on your concept of a stiff box with Sorbothane isolation. It is two parts - the mounting plate that bolts to the airplane, and the box bottom that holds the camera and is easily removed. It is all aluminum and nut plate construction, and the mounting plate is tough enough to use for a tie down.

There are still some speeds and power settings where I get some vibration, but I'm learning where it works well. I really like the video quality of the approach into Hartman Ranch.
