CCub 0042 flew today

The second kit I have built flew today for the first time I received the wings on 17 Sept 2012 and the fuselage on 15 Nov. 2012. I had put the new Catto 80X50 prop on this aircraft what a difference at 2500 RPM today I was indicating 132 MPH I had never gone that fast with the 78X55, I have never gone that fast in a Cub. The take off was as good or better than the 78X55. If the airspeed was indicating high I don't care it makes me feel better to go that fast.

That's great EV. Congratulations. It looks really nice and sounds like it flies just as good.

I've got the 80x50 prop now too and consider it to be better both for takeoff and faster in cruise. I haven't gone as fast as you but I've got 31" tires too and usually throttle back to 2300 in cruise. That'll give 90+ mph.
