Default Ignition question on the CC-340.

Experimental question:http://www.emagair.com/Intro.htm. Would it be possible to mount a set of Emag Pmag's on the
CC-340. Put another way are all the parts still there to drive a regular set of magnetos which is what you need to drive the Pmags. This way you could remove lightspeed system and the backup battery because each Pmag has its own built-in
    alternator.

No. Several reasons but you would probably have to change out the accessory case (due to the bonded on covers over the mag holes) Also, no drive gears other than the crank gear, cam gear and one idler. That might drive one side but not the other. Also, the cylinders are not drilled/tapped for regular spark plugs.

Probably other things I'm not thinking of.

Thanks Pete sounds to me like you would need to split the cases to do the changes not worth the trouble. The cylinders wouldn't be a problem because Emag makes auto type leads, and aircraft leads. Thanks again for the info.
