Default TUTORIAL: Inserting images into messages

The ability to insert pictures into messages is an important feature, we all know how well pictures can help communicate a point -- after all "one picture is worth a thousand words". Many forums don't allow pics to be embedded, only links to pics on the web somewhere. This can be a real hassle and requires you to not only have a web site or web pic album. Not here, we fully support pics embedded right in messages -- once you insert the pic it resides in the forum database and will stay in the message forever.

For those who may not be familiar with the process here's a step-by-step tutorial...

Step 1: Pick where you want to insert the image
Make sure you have the cursor at the place in the message where you want to insert the image.

Step 2: Bring up the "Insert image" dialog

Step 3: Clilck the Select Files button

Step 4: Navigate to the pic you want to insert

    Step 5: Upload the image

    Step 6: Send the message

This all takes longer to read than do, happy posting, and we all look forward to seeing your pics!

Click on "Settings" in the upper right corner, assuming you are logged in which you will need to be, then click on the "Edit profile picture" button and upload your pic.
