Default new carbon cub owner questions

I"m the happy owner of a new carbon cub. Only problem is I don't have a tail wheel endorsement yet. I plan to get this done in the next few days, weather permitting. I'm looking for advice from those of you who have more experience in tailwheels than I do (nearly everyone). any advice will be appreciated. especially things that I need to watch out for that are particular to the carbon cub: Things my cfi might not know about.
One more thing: I weight about 280 lbs and according to the weight and balance I need to add about 75 lbs in the rear compartment to be in the weight and balance envelope when I'm just about out of fuel. Is this going to be critical to flight? If I don't use the weight, do I need to worry about being too far out front in the center of gravity.

Rick, congrats on getting a new Carbon Cub! There is a whole lot to learn on how to get the most out of your new Carbon Cub beyond learning to land safely but that obviously is the first step! Enjoy the process as a whole new flying world will be opened up to you.
