Is the RV mount the piece of teardrop tubing between the AOA/Pitot tube and the bracket bolted to the spar? Is the teardrop tubing aluminum or steel?

Yes, this is the Top Cub bracket turned around and is now mounted to the forward spar, in the same bay, with the same hardware. The mount is for the Dynon Pitot from Avery tools: SA-06BL, and is made of aluminum. Both were modified a bit to fit together.

Nice looking panel. What type of stick is in that? I like the looks of it. Appreciate the info. Thanks.

Dave, did you make your mask removable or is it fixed?

The mount is screwed into nutplates on the bracket and is removable. I bought the blue mount from SafeAir and used their quick connectors for the pitot static lines. The Dynon tubes are kept separated with silicone within the mount. I also removed the lip on the base plate, this must be for the RV's, and ground a little off the bracket to fit around the weld. You will need an inspection ring to connect the plumbing after cover and will want to ensure the bottom of the bracket is level with the bottom of the wing. We used a string line across the bottom of the wing before we drilled the holes in the spar.

Thx Dave, I also bought the Safeair mask, when you say extension you talking about that raised area on the front of the mounting plate.

We picked it up at Oshkosh, I am not sure, but I think Pacific Avionics has them. It has a rocker switch for the trim, a PTT, and an autopilot disconnect switch. We do not have an autopilot, so we may use that one to push frequencies from the Skyview to the Icom radio. We cut down the aft stick tube and mounted it upfront, we put the front stick in the rear seat position so we now have trim at both seats. This required a trim relay, ours is simple, one works or the other works. if both are pushed in opposite directions, nothing works. The sticks were modified so that they clear the panel up front and the rear stick clears the back of the front seat. The Skyview has a trim position indicator so we put a Celesco trim sensor on the jack screw for that.
